Prada Fragrances

Prada, the iconic Italian fashion house was founded by Mario Prada in 1913.

Alongside his brother Martino Mario established Fratelli Prada (Prada Brothers) a luxury leather goods and luggage store in Milan.

The brand first gained widespread recognition in 1979 with the introduction of its signature totes and backpacks which became instant best-sellers.

This success led Prada to expand its reach globally placing its coveted handbags in major retailers and opening a second boutique in Milan.

By 1984 shoes were added to the product line followed by the debut of Prada's first womenswear collection in 1988.

In 2003 Prada introduced a collection of exclusive "artisan fragrances," available only at select boutiques and high-end department stores.

These limited-edition scents each spotlighted a single note such as Iris Orange Flower Tuberose and Violet. 

Prada continued to expand this collection with new additions in 2007 and 2010. 

The brand's first mass-market fragrance Prada Eau de Parfum was launched in 2004 marking a significant milestone in Prada's ongoing influence in the luxury fragrance industry.
