Gucci Fragrances

Gucci is an Italian fashion label founded in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, making it one of the oldest Italian fashion brands in operation today. Like many historic fashion houses, the brand started out as a luggage manufacturer, producing luxury travel goods for Italy's wealthy upper-classes, as well as equestrian equipment.

The company's first fragrance, Gucci No. 1 for women, was introduced in 1974. A series of fragrances for men and women have since been launched, with many taking legendary status amongst perfume collectors, including Gucci 3 and L'Arte di Gucci. Tom Ford served as the company's creator director in mid-90s through the early 21st century. Creative director Frida Giannini took over for Ford and since 2015, Alessandro Michele has been at the helm.

In addition to fragrance, Gucci products include handbags and other leather goods, shoes, ready-to-wear clothing, cosmetics, skin care, jewelry, and watches. Gucci Group N.V's principal activities are designing, distributing and manufacturing luxury apparel and accessories. Products of the Group include ready-to wear, handbags, luggage, small leather goods, shoes, timepieces, jewelry, ties and scarves, eyewear, perfumes, colognes, cosmetics and skin care products.
